Gullison/Eagan { Engagement }

There was a lot of rescheduling when it came to getting this engagement session done; work schedules, bad weather, that nasty flu bug; but I finally had a chance to photograph this lovely couple. They travelled to see me as I wasn't heading down their way again before the snow disappears (if it ever does) and they wanted a winter session. So Sackville on a Sunday afternoon it was. If you've ever been to Sackville, you know that the odds are high that there may be a "little" wind. But we all suffered through the cold wind and got some really beautiful photos with some really cute props that the couple worked so hard at creating. Their wedding late this summer is going to be so much fun, and I am super excited to get to be a part of their special day.

Enjoy and share the love.

Haley {Family}

I had the pleasure of photographing the Haley family again this past weekend; and now I think I've captured them in every season. We couldn't have asked for a nicer afternoon in winter at the Ganong Nature Park. Overcast with slightly sunny skies, warm temps (as warm as you can get for winter), and the beautiful surroundings of the park. Now with photographing any family, you have to expect the unexpected (like dad carrying both kids at the same time) and some goofiness when it comes to making your sibling smile. If you know this family (I feel like I'm getting to know them quite well now), you will know that they are just as lovely as they are beautiful.

Enjoy and share the love.

Tapley/Hartford {Engagement}

The Ganong Nature Park on this past Saturday was absolutely beautiful; the temperature was warm and the weather was overcast and partly sunny. Perfect for a winter engagement session. Meeting Christina and Tyler for the first time this day was nerve raking (I always get nervous meeting new people...my shyness from earlier years pops back up), but I could tell within a few minutes in that Christina and I were going to work very well together. They came prepared with lots ideas to go along with my ideas and were very open to what ever came. I couldn't be happier with this session with this super gorgeous couple, and am very excited to get to be a part of their New Years Eve wedding happening next winter.

Enjoy and share the love.

Clark { Maternity }

I first met Lindsay and Justin at the beginning of this cold winter to get family pictures done with their son Cole. I never thought I'd hear from them again after that bitterly cold afternoon. Poor Cole did nothing but cry. But lucky me, I had the pleasure of spending some time with them all again this past Saturday; and although it is now the end of winter, the temperature was much nicer. In the next couple weeks this family of 3 will grow to a family of 4 with the birth of their second child. And can you believe they have decided to be surprised on the sex of their wee one until the birth...I could not be that patient. I can not wait to meet the new itty bitty Clark in the weeks to follow.
